Happy Birthday, Gustave Flaubert, born 12 December 1821, died 8 May 1880
I think the point is, is that I don’t like who I am in this relationship. I know that you’re not happy. But that’s the point. I know. And I care. I would go to the end of the Earth if it meant it would help you. Weirdly, your happiness is my happiness. But I’m also not happy. And you’re not willing to do for me what I’m willing to do for you. You’re unhappy, but you’ve got a collection of people sitting dusty and waiting readily upon your shelf. You gather these people and pluck them down when you need them most. But there’s no-one on my shelf. I don’t even have a fucking shelf. Instead I have a cold, white, empty room where not even my books and my poetry can protect me. So I’m moving away from this room and I’m going to find a great perhaps.

The Hälssen & Lyon tea calendar is the first calendar in the world to feature calendar days made from tea leaves.
